Qissa is a startup that provides you a platform to share your video news with the world and earn money. Anyone can become a reporter at Qissa and get the opportunity to submit videos and start earning money.

As a viewer, you can watch, share and comment on the latest news video reports for free. We bring news and stories from all corners of Pakistan. Qissa is a happening place and we always have something for everyone.
What is Qissa's objective
Our objective is to bring original news from around the country to the public, without any editing. Everyone is our reporter. Post your news video and be the change in society; all the while making money doing it.
How Qissa is benefitting society?
By providing the news from your perspective, we ensure that our news is unbiased, uncensored, straight from your camera, with no editing! We bring to the society, issues that are not reported by anyone and we provide your perspective to the public.
What is Qissa's business model?
Qissa make moneys by running ads on Qissa website, pre-roll video ads and on Qissa Android App. We do not charge our viewers or reporters to use our platform.

How is your platform unbiased?
Qissa does not have any association or affiliation with any political party or group. Qissa does not have any employed reporters as we believe everyone is our reporter. We get all news videos from you and post them without any editing.
Is your platform backed by any political party?
Qissa is community driven news platform, it is not backed by any political party or news channel.
How can I register with Qissa?
You can register with Qissa as a Qissa member or Qissa Reporter. To register, follow the guidelines provided in this video.
What is a Qissa Member and Qissa Reporter? How do I become one?
At the Qissa website or Android app, you can register as a Member or a Reporter.
Qissa Member: As a Qissa Member, you can like, dislike and comment on the videos but cannot post their own videos. You only require a valid email ID and a password to register as a member.
Qissa Reporter: If you would like to post your videos, you will be required to register as a Qissa Reporter. Qissa reporters can submit videos and earn money for each submitted video. Reporters must provide more details like Phone numbers, CNIC, bank account number etc. for us to pay.

How to upgrade from member to a Qissa Reporter?
To upgrade from member to Reporter, follow one of the following methods:
1) When logged in as a member, click on the Become a Reporter button at the home screen and provide further details.
2) When logged in as a member, click on the Submit Video button at home screen. You will be asked to provide further details.
You will be sent a confirmation email when successfully registered
What type of videos do you accept?
We accept videos which lie in the following categories:
1. Accidents
2. Conflict
3. Crime
4. Talent
5. Tourism
6. Corruption
What is the recommended length of the video?
Video recommended duration is between 30 to 90 seconds.
How many videos can I post?
This is the best part! There is no limit on how many videos you can post. We will pay money for all your videos that we accept for our website.
How much money will I get for my video?
Our payment range is between RS 250- RS 2,500 for each accepted video. The payout depends on the following factors: For higher payouts, we consider following:
1) Quality of Video - Standard Definition, High Definition etc.
2) Content of video (Rare content gets more money)
3) Duration of the video (30 seconds - 90 Seconds)
Will my video be accepted by Qissa?
Qissa only accepts exclusive and original content. Therefore, the videos that you submit must be made by you and not posted elsewhere on social media. The content of your video must be useful and informative to viewers. For more information, see examples at www.qissa.pk/videos.
How do you measure videos credibility before uploading on your page?
We have in house tools to check if the video has already been posted on social media / YouTube etc. Make sure that the video you submit is made by yourself and not uploaded anywhere else on social media.
Can I post someone else's videos and get paid?
No. We value originality and therefore accept only original content made by yourself. We always check the originality of video before accepting it.
How can I upload a video?
You must be registered as a Reporter to upload a video. To register, follow the guidelines provided in this video. .
When my video will be uploaded on Qissa page?
Every video that you upload goes through our review cycle. Review includes verifying the authenticity of video, reviewing the content of video etc. We ensure that the video that you provide goes through all these steps within 12 hours of submission of video.
What if I am not satisfied with the Compensation offered by Qissa for my video?
Once your video is approved by Qissa, you will be sent a confirmation email of your video acceptance and assessed compensation. Your payment will also be scheduled. If you are not satisfied with the compensation, you may reply to the email accordingly; we will delete your video and cancel your payment.
Can I delete a video once I have received the payment for the video?
Once the payment has been made to you, video becomes property of Qissa and you will not be able to delete the video. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for more details.
What is the Qissa Review process?
Every video that you post goes through our review process. Review process includes following major steps:
1) We verify that the video does not contain any objectionable material e.g. explicit, anti-national, hate speech etc.
2) We assess whether the content of your video will be useful to people. This is essential to maintain Quality.
3) We check the originality of your video. Your video should not have been posted elsewhere on Social media.
4) We assess the payment for your video. (refer to FAQ # 13)
How long does Qissa take to review the Video?
We target to complete the review process within 12 hours of the submission of your video. You can check the status of your video by visiting your account at Qiss.

Once the payment has been made to you, video becomes property of Qissa and all copyrights of the video will be transferred to Qissa. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for more details.
What happen when a video is Rejected.
When we reject a video for any reason, we will not post it on our platform. You will obviously not be paid for your rejected content.
How will I get money for my accepted videos?
There are two ways to receive money from Qissa:
1) Easypaisa
2) Bank Account
How long will it take for the money transfer after my video acceptance?
We process all payments once every week. Therefore, we ensure that you get your money within 1 week of the acceptance of your video.
I posted the video but it is not visible on your page, Why is this so?
Your video will not appear on the website until the video is approved by the Qissa reviewers. We ensure that the review cycle is finished within 12 hours. You can always see the status of your video in your My Videos tab on My Profile.
Why has my uploaded video been rejected.
Your video may be rejected for one or more of the following reasons:
1) Your video contains objectionable content e.g. explicit, antinational, hate speech etc.
2) Your video is not original i.e. it has already been posted elsewhere on the social video.
3) Your video does not contain useful information for the people.
My video was original and did not have objectionable content. Why was it rejected?

How can I share the Qissa videos?
All videos on our website have a "Share" option so that you can share the videos on social media (Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter etc.)
What is a strike out?
Strike out policy is a process whereby a reporter is penalized for submitting or publishing copied content.
What happens when I submit a copied video?
Qissa has a very strict policy on copied content. Qissa believes in original content and rewards those reporters who uphold the principles of journalism.
What happens when I am issued a strike out?
Whenever a reporter submits a copied video, he/she will be issued a strike. On accumulating 3 strikes, the reporter will be locked out from submitting videos on Qissa for a period of 1 month.

After one month, the account will be reinstated. However, if the reporter sends another copied video then the fourth and final strike will be issued and the reporter will be permanently banned.
